I think this is going to end up being a bigger clusterfrick than most people realize. I’m not big on the idea of using CFP rankings to determine the two participants but isn’t that ultimately what you want: the 2 highest ranking? I guess a win and you’re in/lose and you’re out scenario would be ok for one of the teams if on the cusp but I don’t see it happening very often. I guess it all depends on how a conference season standings end up but I just don’t see how any tie break scenario doesn’t end up causing controversy moving forward.
