I wonder if this means that Saban has told the QBs that the competition is completely open for next year? Can't imagine another reason why he'd stay since Milroe already said he's coming back.

After what happened the other day, Alabama has to keep the quarterback competition open. Milroe has a ceiling and Simpson is a very talented passer along with being a better athlete than some give him credit for.

Everyone keeps acting like Milroe only has 1 more year… but technically he could play for 2 more years. I don’t think he’s getting drafted very high, even after next year. My fear is that he comes back to start next year, and then starts again in 2025 haha
