Doug Marrone was probably the worst assistant CNS ever had and I was massively underwhelmed by Woolford. As a result, we shouldn't be terribly surprised that the offensive line massively under achieved while those two bozos were O line coaches.

There is ZERO reason for the offensive line to have been so horrible with all that talent Bama had.

I think Rees is the worst OC Saban had at Alabama. The miscommunications and mistakes all lay at the feet of the coordinator. Even the 2007 offense didn’t look that bad and really only struggled after losing some OL starters to textbooks.

Its not Rees job to snap the ball above the QBs knees.

It is his job to work with the OLC to find someone who can...

If it was Jalen, then it speaks more about O'Brien and Rees's development of him than it does about Jalen and would explain some of the concerns other posters have brought up.

O’Brien literally told Milroe he shouldn’t play quarterback so logically the a-hole wasn’t going to spend any effort to develop him.

And magically, seemingly the only time people took up for BOB on here outside of the 2021 SECCG was when Milroe made that comment.

Don't give that bastard BOB too much credit because he literally did nothing to develop Bryce Young either.

Bryce left Alabama the same player he was when Sark left. If you seen any growth that wasn't natural through age please share it with me.

That is a damn lie. People literally hated me (a guy they don't even know) because I use to heavily criticize BOB while they defended him.

Even the last season people would make excuses for him and pin it all on our idiot DC when both were idiots but only one was actually trying

I meant after it was all said and done, post-2022 season, no one defended him. Congrats on being the visionary that you are.

I'm not a visionary, I just played the sport for long enough and know certain things that seems to offend people whenever I bring them up (and end up right)

BOB's job was to coach the quarterbacks. If his boss said he was a quarterback, he needed to be developing him instead of bitching about how undeveloped he was...

Pretty much impossible to judge Rees correctly given he was calling plays with a center that couldn't snap the ball, a QB that had no time to throw and was too inexperienced with pocket awareness that resulted in a ridiculous amount of sacks, and who also couldn't see or cared to see his check downs on 95% of his plays.

It's a lot easier to place the blame on one person, but the entire team and staff deserve combined credit for the state of the offense last season.

Crazy how good of a deal we had with Saban compared to these salaries. Remember when everybody outside of Bama lost their shite over us paying him 4 million a year? Heck, he'd be a deal for 15 mil.

General Manager Courtney Morgan’s salary is $500,000. Thought that would’ve been higher.

You still don't get it do you? Posters here appreciate others who have insight, who "know certain things", what they don't like is someone who makes everything all about themselves. You seem to be very self-centered - it is very unattractive to 95%+ of the population.

Also, the Bible says, "Let another praise you, and not your own mouth; a stranger, and not your own lips." As always, great advice.

Ryan Day is such a clown:

quote:

Ryan Day attributed Seth McLaughlin's bad snaps at Alabama to cadence issues with Jalen Milroe.

“Seth’s snaps have been great. I know that was a little bit of a concern. I think that had a lot to do with maybe the cadence or whatever. But so far, he’s been doing great.”
