Is he suddenly going to develop a higher football IQ in the off-season?

That’s how it typically works, yes.

Milroe this year has shown he can be a good QB. The games in which we struggled was due to pressure coming from the middle. Texas and Michigan.

There aren’t that many QBs that can handle pressure like that up the middle and frequent low snaps.

The thing I’ve noticed with him is sometimes it’s like his first start all over again. Granted the offensive line needs major work, but he never looks comfortable back there, it’s the 13th game and he just presses. Even when he scrambles it’s like he runs into the teeth of a defense, and his ball handling sucks.

I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, but I never felt like he couldn’t lose a game for Bama in a minute. So, the point that’s been made is he never gets better.

I’m looking at other SEC programs trotting out talented freshmen or

rs freshmen qb’s with quick decision making skills and scratching my head.

I’ve felt this way all season, not just after last night.
