He was throwing everything well. Receivers made some nice catches over the shoulder against very good coverage a few times.

Penix was dropping dimes last night - he also has some stud WRs that were making every catch imaginable.

I didn’t know much about Washington or Penix. I do know y’all’s defense has been good and especially the D line play has been good.
Washington protected well, Penix had fantastic mobility, but his accuracy was so very impressive. He was surgical against a very good defense.
Had he not been on the west coast he might have won the Heisman, if last night was his norm.

One of the finest QB performances I can remember watching. UW honestly should have let him throw it 60 times. I get they were trying to keep the defense honest with the run game, but Penix was in another realm.

hey dummy, look at the total stats. Daniels had more rushing yards in one game than Penis had all season. Penix had 4 games without throwing a TD. that is not Heisman stats.

How is that possible if each team had offense that good then How the heck did LSU lose THREE games this year? In other words, LSU offense was stopped from time to time and the other team scored more points on offense /defense turnovers. I think Washington quarterback deserved the Heisman.
