re: When does the average fan tap out from college football?

I've been a season ticket holder for 20+ years. I'm starting to consider just purchasing individual game tickets. This past season, the first 3 home games were all in September when the weather is hot. I love to tailgate, but not in 90 degree weather. Then, there is the Thursday night game which SBC teams play. You have to take off work Thursday and probably all of Friday. So, you get 2 Saturday games in cool weather. I pay for chair seats, but they aren't as comfortable as a La-Z-Boy. It's getting easier and easier to find a reason not to go to campus.
