If watching the SEC hold their own [thanks Kentucky] or kick other conferences arses is wrong, I don't want to be right.

PS - Then there is AU.


Seriously though, in the age of NIL, transfer and hearing from a scuzzy agent, that he has a friend, who knows a player who was hurt in a bowl game and it impacted his NFL chances --- this has become a problem. Add to it, increasing the number of bowl games from 17 to 35 in twenty years. Time to reduce that back to a reasonable number in the playoff era.

The bowls are dead because nobody cares including the teams that play in them. When the best players start sitting out even less people will care. Under the new format its only gonna be worse

But cfb needed a better playoff structure to decide who's the champ. Bowl games as we knew them are collateral damage
