So LSU should claim a share of the 2011 title because they split with Bama and because Bama was not a conference champ. Thats ridiculous, of course. And as much as UGA trying to grab a piece of the ‘23 title pie.

A footnote isn’t as “official” as this title makes it seem. Also, it states that Alabama has a split title for 2016. I don’t see them claiming that one. Respectable fans and respectable programs know what a real championship is.

With fair officiating UGA is the SEC champ and would've punished FSU in the Rose Bowl. Half of Saban's conference titles were gifts from Birmingham.

Going to beat a top 5 team by 70, only loss is to the SEC champion by a field goal, arguably should've been top 4 and in the playoffs. We should see them get some #1 votes depending on how the playoffs shake out
