Since Georgia can not orchestrate a fair election I guess they can run the score up for no reason.

Why they had to go to 12 teams

Not sure how that’s even close to being relevant to this particular scenario. I’m not saying UGA isn’t better than Washington and or Michigan. You would be a very bad gambler if you put money on those two teams to beat UGA on the biggest stage. Doesn’t remove the fact that they did what they were expected to do and stay healthy.

With that perspective we might as well just give the top two SEC teams automatic bids with a possible third in a 4 team playoffs then in the 12 team we give it a 6 team automatic bid for the SEC.

I'm saying that when it's all said and done and in the books, human perception is going to work that way.

Just unlucky we draw Alabama and not Iowa

It’s every year for them. I really think only Texas and Alabama can be competitive against Georgia right now, and neither would be favored.

I don’t disagree but if the NCAA allowed UGA in then the game as we know is fools gold. Never in the history of this sport would we not allow undefeated teams in historically great conferences not compete for the national championship that allows 4 teams instead of two. I’m not being hostile or a hater, it’s just unfortunate that the only sport that’s even really worth watching is an *ss hair away from losing it’s romance entirely. Before the Arizona game the other day, I didn’t know many OU fans even care that it was even playing simply bc so many players didn’t want to play. That’s just sad and it’s proof that it’s dying.

You got in after being blown out in your conference championship. Get the hell out with that nonsense. Holy crap.

Don’t think UGA will boat race them like everyone thinks.

65-7 was the new goal.

Was.

Funny. Georgias players wanted to play. Even those going to the NFL , in the portal or battling injuries worked their asses off to get on that field. You either are a true team member who loves his teammates and his school or you aren’t. FSU showed us what they are today. Whining losers

Man, FSU fans have to feel extremely disappointed and angry with the way this whole offseason has unfolded. Went undefeated and thought they were surely playoff bound, until their all-star starting QB goes down with an injury.

I’d be pissed that my team quit and ruined a perfect season in embarrassing fashion because the fricking Orange Bowl isn’t good enough for them.

At least show up and try to win. Have some dignity. The first and most important lesson in football is you always leave it all out on the field. You can’t do shite about refs, committees, etc but you can control how you play and how you handle adversity. The players who opted out failed themselves as men and should be ashamed

Good discussion on twitter,

Last thing…apparently Florida State has 14 starters opted out and Georgia none (or few)

Maybe…just maybe, that’s a program culture thing

Georgia has won the last 2 titles. The fact all their players wanted to play might say something about their program vs the other

And last year Bryce Young and Will Anderson played in the "meaningless" bowl game, which they blew out K State. There's a reason Bama and Georgia are in playoff almost every year. Great players and great culture is one helluva combo

Georgia, showed us they are a true championship level team.
At the end of the day, they did lose to Alabama in the Conference Championship.
Instead of crying and players not wanting to play in a lesser bowl, the team showed up to play a bowl game.

FSU, showed up how weak they are.
Instead of overcoming losing a starting QB.
The players quit on the team.
