I live in TN, ten miles from the KY border, and south central Kentuckians are NOT Yankees. Maybe the ones in Louisville are, but not in my area.

Same for me I live in West Tennessee about 10 miles from Kentucky.
My mother’s house is in Fulton Ky.
They moved there after retirement.
