I'm not going to disparage an SEC team by comparing them to an AAC team.
Has Memphis become a consistently good program in their conference? Sure they have. Happy for them too.
Could they match the 10-3 record from this year getting their headlights punched out through an 8 game SEC schedule? Doubtful.
So love them or hate them, I'll bet on the Vols anyday over Memphis. And just an FYI, UT is 22-1 all time versus Memphis.
