Thinking about it myself I can maybe name 3-5 tops in 12-15 years that Bama may have had to worry about. Since Hugh freeze showed up I can name the same amount in less than a year. How are you guys struggling with this point?? It will be harder than it was and SOME Bama fans aren't being honest about that. It's simple

Because you seem to not fricking get it? I understand you probably just started following recruiting, but it doesn’t matter if auburn flips or gets some players that Alabama wants. They are still going to sign top 2 classes consistently. How is it any harder than Alabama battling with UGA or Ohio state?

I guess we need to cut these kids some slack… they are still learning what recruiting relevance is like

You tell me. In 2021 and 2023 Auburn took Bama to the wire with inferior talent now they're signing guys like Cam Coleman. Yes, Bama has always had competition from Ohio st, Georgia, LSU ect but now having a team with their level of talent in state(maybe) plus the new playoff format will prevent them from being DOMINANT. That's all I'm saying. Yes Bama will sign good players and compete for a championship, but not nearly as frequent over the next decade. Is that really insane to you guys??

Because it’s now UGA AND Auburn all in the same footprint. Same reasoning we use when talking to other conferences about strength of schedule. When you have more programs vying for the same recruits it’s going to get tougher to land some of them. You acting like it’s no big deal is exactly the delusion that’s being called out. Sure you signed a top 2 class in 24. But 25 is going to be more difficult and 26 even more so.
