I think this is a great idea. If a kid has a 6-figures NIL deal they can afford to pay for college.

I agree with this. It should be like how many ivy league schools handle students who earn external scholarships. They simply take the scholarship money and just say that part is paid towards the financial assistance they are paying the student already. They don't give the money to the student in any way.

CFB players should not be given a scholarship to the school when they are making more than enough to cover the cost of attending school. Scholarships should be given to those who can't get any NIL deals or better yet, paid for other sports that don't typically provide any sort of scholarshps. If you can pay you should pay.
