To say we're better than the big 10? As long as we continue to have the best top half which really isn't even close to a debate who cares if our bottom half isn't as good as someone else's.

I imagine it's bc playoff games are going to be a ratings/money bonanza. Tv networks are running the show now. And they a want an nfl lite with two conferences. It's probably going to be two 24 team conferences. With a 24 team playoff. Top 12 from two conferences. 4 from each with byes. All of them guaranteed to bring eyeballs. No wake forests or northwesterns to ruin the ratings

Then the bottom half leaves the SEC, making somebody from the upper teir the new "bottom rung".
