Legit question.

Oats?
Beard?

Be prepared, they will be considered.

What is Pearl’s buyout with the new contract? He would crawl on broken glass for a job like Louisville.

Discuss.

Louisville likes coaches with some baggage so Will Wade could be a real prospect. Maybe Billy Clyde Gillespie they like our ex-coaches.

Now if Beard had really smacked his woman around but I don’t think he did.

Tough call.

Zero chance Bruce leaves Auburn for another college job by his choice.

Wonder if history will repeat.

Louisville had a HoF coach in Denny Crum
Flew out of the country and handed Petino a briefcase that Fall
In spring they announced coach search to replace Crum
Hired Petino like it had "suddenly" happened

If this holds true they have already "hired" the new coach and will announce this Spring. Question is, who is out there on the list that has been outside of the USA in the last half of 2023?

That would be my first guess at who the new coach will be.

Not sure on buyout, but he is making around $6 Million this year and the contract goes to 2030, increasing $250,000 each year. He'll also be 64 in March.

ETA: He got this contract extension the last time Louisville was shopping for a coach.

I don't think it would be Oats as everyone thinks the steam is cooling off on him. Thankfully the human mind takes the recency bias in high regards......

So Ole Miss y'all better pony up
