It's not perfect but the logic on the rankings is sound. Where it fails is for instance, a player listed in the portal as "from Ole Miss" was dismissed from the team a couple of months ago. He's the 2nd highest ranked player leaving Ole Miss and the only one leaving who ever had any playing time though, whereas Ole Miss is bringing in 9 players who were starters at their respective P5 schools and one who started at G5. Thus, Ole Miss has a high index.
