Sure they’ll play if they are in the same division. They sure as frick wont go out of their way to promote each other and lick each others’ assholes.

So that’s what is happening with Florida-Florida State, Clemson-South Carolina, Georgia-Georgia Tech, USC-Notre Dam, Iowa-Iowa State? I could go on… none of those teams are in the same division

Also, you’ve used the phrase “licking each others buttholes” like a dozen times in this thread alone. I’m starting to pick up some projection here…

Yeah, Alabama just shouldn't play Auburn, in order to hurt them.

Totally on board with this, for the record. This series has done nothing but uplift an otherwise mediocre in-state rival at Alabama’s expense.

I saw actual newspaper articles from 2011/2012 timeframe with Texas AD Deloss Dodds quoted in the article refusing to play A&M.

Both Texas and Oklahoma Care a lot about our rivalry. I don't expect a Missouri fan to understand rivalries, however. Most of the time the rest of the college sports world forgets you exist.

and then in 2018 there were actual articles of Texas’ current AD asking A&M to play, and A&M saying no thanks, we’re scared and want to play app state instead

Thank God! Had they not declined, Texas would’ve been stuck playing an irrelevant nobody in week 2 this year as opposed to playing and beating Bama, which ultimately propelled them into the playoffs.

We should be thanking you for being so terrified of us!

OU/UT together ask to join SEC.

That is not really what happened. Donghorns asked SEC for an invite but as a stipulation, they wanted to ensure the Red River Shootout continued. SEC said okay , you will get an invite but you have to bring your big brother Chokelahoma with you. Chokelahoma never says no to their little sister donghorn. The rest is history.

Have you ever wondered who the donghorns true rival is? Who do they talk about the most on this site? How often do you hear them bad mouthing blowU?

Well, actually Oklahoma once 'invaded' Texas (According to Texas).
The border between Texas and Oklahoma is unique in that it doesn't follow center of channel for the Red River. The Indian Treaties established the border as the southern bank of the Red River.
After Oklahoma and Texas jointly built bridge across the Red. (this was in the 20s or 30s), Texas wanted to charge a toll which Oklahoma refused.
Texas installed a toll booth on the center of the bridge thinking that was the border. The Oklahoma govenor mobilized the Oklahoma National Guard, had the NG tear down the booth and throw it into the water. Texas sued claiming Oklahoma had invaded Texas and unlawfully destroyed state property.
The Supreme Court ruled in favor of Oklahoma.

Nobody owes these low-rent squatters any explanation. They ran away from their "rival" too just like their aggot buddies and they're about to be bumped further down the who's who list than they already are.

That part is actually true. Donghorn AD gets butt hurt and refuses to play A&M when they join the SEC. Six years later donghorns come begging to play daddy A&M because they realize A&M made the smart move and donghorn is just slipping further and further into irrelevancy. A&M does not see any upside to playing donghorn plus they are already scheduled out for the next 5 years anyway. In order to ensure that donghorn does not become completely irrelevant, they come begging the SEC for invite .

Now xwing/rancho/vinner is probably going to reply to this by saying “yea but it was a unanimous vote to accept us into the conference “ like that really has anything to do with the current topic

I was starting to think this thread was evidence that Missouri was even more pathetic than A&M but the ags are coming in and putting things back to normal.

So instead, Texas scheduled Alabama, beats them and rides the victory into the CFP while TAMU fires their coach and loses any and all momentum they might've had.

Oops.

Here again, another tea sip who chimes in with a comment that has absolutely nothing to do with what the discussion is about. I guess they do this to try and convince the rest of the rant how smart they are? They all seem to really care what rant posters think about them.

No matter what the discussion is about, the ‘sip’s always turn the topic around to make it about A&M. I think most of them are still butt hurt about us leaving the Big 12
