The basketball game at Simmons and maybe the baseball game at Dicky Stevens are the only Razorback games that should be in central Arkansas in the future. The Argenta area in downtown NLR where the stadiums are has actually become a nice area and has been steadily improving. Good place for hosting one game a year of the sports we are actually competitive in.

As far a WMS goes, the state should invest heavily in UALR and buy up the blight neighborhoods north of campus to connect it with the medical school. The old golf course would make a great area for athletic facilities and WMS would be your typical G5 stadium in todays CFB. UALR is missing out on a good opportunity in the funbelt with built in rivals in UCA and StAte right next door. In the future lower tier of D1 football where you actually recruit your local area with scholarships they would be in the perfect spot to bring in lots of 2 and low 3 star talent that central ark can provide.

Any attempts at a Razorback football connection to central Ark is just outdated thinking. Recruiting will be done with dollars from now on and there just isn't enough talent here to justify it. The everyman that the game was meant to appeal to just watches on TV now anyway. The new highest division of CFB is played on the national stage, not a local one.

Turned into a bit of a novel there. Pondered quite a bit on it if you can't tell

Yes just lots of nostalgia with WMS. At one time I could, and did, walk to the games at the stadium as I relatively close to it for a few years.

Even if the Razorbacks don’t play football there anymore it would be great to have a new modern football stadium with ample seating in the Little Rock area which could also be used for big outdoor concerts as well.
