This reminded me of our first game in our new stadium at hot springs in the 70s when I was in high school. The lighting in the stadium was, I believe it was called, mercury vapor lighting. Much brighter than the old lighting used back then.
They turned the lights off for a fireworks display and they wouldn’t come back on til they cooled down I guess. They finally, slowly started coming up but we didn’t know if we were going to play or not.
I figured this type of problem would have been addressed by now.

Metal Halide lighting is outdated.
The city or county that runs that shite hole has the money to upgrade to LED
