The guy got whipped by sorry arse Adrian Hubbard all game in Jerry World in 2012. Good on him for having such a long career and a loud mouth.

Hubbard was very good throughout that 2012 season.

Man, yall clearly don’t watch bussin with the boys. It’s their schtick. They are homers for their schools. Doesn’t bother me; they played when you took pride in where you played, instead of taking money from whichever booster paid the most.

God, I love that clip someone posted [below the post] of Vinnie Sunseri taking out the running back.

Guys that cover college football are living in fantasy land. Michigan is apparently an unbeatable juggernaut and Alabama is some poor little ole team that struggled with Auburn.
When has Michigan beat any team worth a crap not named Ohio State or Penn State? Do we want to forget what happens when Michigan faces team with actual dudes up front and real speed?
The reality is Michigan has 2 five stars on their roster. Alabama has 18 five stars. Michigan has 38 three stars. Bama has 10 three stars.
Blake Corum is just another average RB. They don't have elite WRs. Their O line has a few guys at around 280 lbs.
They haven't seen anything like Alabama since they played UGA in 2021 and we all saw that beatdown.
Michigan will not reach 20 points. The only way this game is close is if Milroe has a horrible game and we can't score. Otherwise this will be a beatdown and another reminder at how much better the top of the SEC is compared to the top of the BIG 10.
Terrible matchup for Michigan.

My only real concern at all in this game is JJM keeping drives alive on third down with his legs. We should be good enough outside though that we can quickly adjust and spy him if necessary. Kid isn’t Daniels but he can move. This is a slightly more modern variation of a Les Miles offense. If Keenan, Oatis, and Eboigbe show up to play Michigan might not score
Our roster is a different breed of cat than Michigan ever sees. We see their roster every week. Aggie has more athletes

He’s still a quarterback that can run. Don’t know if you recall the iron bowl but they kind of ran all over us a week after NMSU took them to the woodshed. Daniels ran all over us, and those are really the only two mobile quarterbacks we’ve seen. McCarthy is a mobile QB. I think we win the game, but his legs present an issue that has troubled this defense really for two decades.
They don’t do as much lateral or eye candy stuff as Auburn, but it’s going to be important that remain gap sound because there will be some QB power and read option stuff from Michigan in Pasadena in addition to the scrambles
I think an ace in the hole is that the closest backup QB in the country to JJM, stylistically, is probably Ty Simpson. Big arm, similar frame, and a lot faster than his melanin would suggest. We should get a great look at what he brings to the table

Thorne had some big runs on breakdowns, but he isn't exactly a mobile QB. AU ran on us with well executed miss-direction/eye candy plays.
Daniels ran and passed all over pretty much everyone this year save their first game of the season.
Jaxson Dart is a mobile QB that we did well against.

Jaxson Dart's mobility is probably the most comparable to McCarthy (in my opinion)... I'm not terribly worried about McCarthy shredding us like JD5 did.
And I agree that Thorne was made more effective by the eye candy, and our inability to decipher their misdirection plays. If UM tries to line up and run the ball down our throats with some occasional play action passing... I like our chances.
