Well there’s no one to blame but the ACC and their alliance. I find it rather fitting they shot themselves in the foot. We. Old have had 12 team this year but they voted against it so they are reaping what they sewed.

No, if FSU could beat UGa, they could be the AP National Champions. Split title. Happened numerous times.

How the hell is a 6 team format going to work? Lol

Georgia vs Florida state.

Loser is out. Winner can say "Orange Bowl champs" and be home in time to watch the national championship.

The current rules are that if you are slapped out of the game and can't continue, you lose the game.

For example, after Bama wins the NC against Texas, Georgia can't demand a rematch for the "real" NC because they didn't play good in the SEC Champ game and their defensive line acted like girls and gave Milroe an average of 23 seconds on each play to figure out what to do.

I’ve never seen a season where 6 teams had legitimate playoff claims. 2 teams got screwed over and were going to get screwed over regardless of the 4 the committee picked.

Why didn't Georgia just win the game if they wanted to be in the playoffs? Seems like they didn't care enough; they weren't hungry.

Success had sated their appetite. A college football team can't lose that late in the year and not expect to drop precipitously if strong candidates are waiting behind them.

So just scrap agreements and contracts that were set in place years ago because a party didn’t get a desired outcome?

Again, the ACC fricked themselves last year by not allowing g the 12-team playoff begin THIS year.

This coming from Bama fans after begging to be included the year before is rich.

"

All we do is take the teams that win the most games at the end of the year, put them into the playoffs," Saban said. "But do you really get the best teams? When they told me that we would be favored against three out of the four teams that got in the playoff, I'm like, 'Why aren't we in the playoffs?'"

2 loss Saban is telling us here its about betting odds instead.

FSU has nothing to do with that. They don't even want to be in the ACC.

The conference that they belong in did, however.

Maybe FSU should’ve stayed an independent 30 years ago.

Play the games as they are. The winner of Bama vs Michigan is in the national championship. The winner of UGA vs FSU and Texas vs Washington play either other. Winner of that game is in the national championship

30 years ago wasnt relevant in 2013 or 2014 and its not relevant today.

This kind of thing has been going on for decades. The voters in some district lean on their elected representative and tha representative does something like this.
