4ea 4-team pods. The winner of each pod play an SEC championship semi-final game. Play the 3 teams in your pod, and rotate 2 teams from each of the other 3 pods. Best way to do it period.

I don't think that works given one of the metrics the SEC wants to use is to preserve the longest traditional rival games. You can't preserve UF/UGA, UGA/Auburn, Auburn/Bama and Bama/TENN with 4 team pods and there is no way there will be a 4 team POD with any combination of the "5 teams" listed above to ensure most of the traditional rivals.
