he still doesn't explain why UGA was left out then. Nobody in their right minds thinks Wash is better than UGA, but Wash got in based on "deserve" but FSU didn't. The problem is there was no consistency in the decisions. And then FSU is #5 over UGA too, lol.

Yeah that is the problem. Not Bama over FSU. FSU over UGA and OSU and Oregon.

The gymnastics are actually simple. You cannot put in Alabama if you don't put in Texas because of H2H. Media wanted both in the playoffs. Problem solved for the committee.

The problem the committee has is "justification" now that the Government is involved. The committee gave the finger to one of the largest schools in Florida with no explanation.

Just wait for the discovery process. The only good thing to come out of this is that the process will need to be more clearly defined and repeatable in the future. This year, I will be rooting for FSU and a "split" MNC. Anything to expose the corruption.

It's a got damn shame some conferences voted down the CFP expansion that could've put 12 teams in this year. I'd have loved to have seen 4 or possibly 5 SEC in the CFP this year.

UW played a much better schedule than UGA. The Dawgs were seriously hurt by the (relative) weakness of the SEC Least, the cancellation of the OU game, and a terrible OOC schedule. I don’t disagree that they might beat UW, but objectively there is zero reason other than recency bias to put them in over the Huskies.
