It would not surprise me at all for him to retire at any point. However, that shite won't be leaking out while there are still games to play, I can promise you that. If this is going to be his last year, we'll know about it after the season ends.

Now, if we want to give any supporting evidence/ideas, I've got some:
1. He seems to truly have captured joy I've not previously seen with this team. If this group does win it all, what a way to go out.
2. He purchased a big home in South Florida I believe last off-season.
3. He purchased a new Mercedes business in South Florida over the summer I think.
4. The above two items suggest he could be lining some stuff up for a move to the beach in retirement from coaching.
5. He has grandkids now that I think he truly enjoys and probably would like to spend more time with.

I do think he'd be good on TV.

Don't forget the Ferrari dealership in Nashville. And, he's part of a group that recently bought 2 more Benz dealerships.

Yes, but he's had a house in Florida since at least 2015: AL.com article.

It's not uncommon for wealthy people to own multiple homes.

Dream Motor Group owns dealerships in Baton Rouge, LA, The Woodlands, TX, two in Nashville, TN, three in AL, and now two in FL.

Did you think he was retiring when he bought dealerships in LA, TX, and TN? He's a part owner in a dealership group. Nothing unusual about that group buying dealerships in FL.

Or he's, ya know, investing his money like a wealthy person normally would?

ETA: He might eventually retire to FL, but I don't see any of the things mentioned as signs that his retirement is imminent (i.e., at the end of this season).
