Probably because he racked up big numbers playing crappy sec defenses and played entire games, because the defense was historically bad.
Paper tiger heisman winner.

Y’all should worry more on getting your boy Stetson off the bottle. What’s up with that?

ESPN has him going 4th overall as of today, and every other mock has him in the Top 10. I don’t know WTF you’re even talking about.

True, but handed a double digit loss to that team from Missouri.

he has improved with 3 losses this year instead of 4.

Meaning he’s on track for 2 losses next year (which could very well get him a playoff birth) and 1 loss for 2025 which certainly guarantees a playoff spot and likely SEC title.

True, and that evened the series at .500 between Mighty LSU and lowly mizzou.

Interesting to me that we have SEC fans trying to rip the kid, he deserved the Heisman and that is all that needs to be said

That was pitiful. It's hard to imagine a team with the Heisman winner on it being so horrible.

Probably due to his history of substance abuse.

Wait, I'm thinking of someone else.

Yep, can’t argue with that, true on all points made. I concede.

Not that hard Gump.

Imagine a Tide team with same SEC record in 2022 who also had a Heisman winner.

Espn has him as #4 overall in their mock draft. I've also seen a CBS guy have him as #2 overall. If he runs a 4.3 40yd dash I wouldn't be surprised if he went #1 overall. That 85 yard run vs Florida, Jayden Daniels hit 21.8 mph on that run. He is insanely fast, and has even better acceleration.

Combine that speed with possibly the best deep ball passing grade of the last 20 years I wouldn't be surprised is the bears didn't grab him at #1 and Malik Nabers at #8.

Better than an alcoholic bum late round pick

But possibly a steal in the 2nd round.
