SUPPOSEDLY he got upset that Kirby told him IF Beck goes pro that we’d look at the portal for next year. No idea of true but kinda makes sense

If Beck goes pro and Raiola came to UGA then the roster would be RS Soph Gunner Stockton and two true freshmen. If Kirby didn’t look for a transfer QB he would be committing coaching malpractice. BS reason.

This sounds like something his camp would have come up with to make it look like they weren’t leaving for money.
ETA: they’d be perfectly within their rights to leave for money, but most kids don’t seem to like to put that reason out there.

How in world does that make any sense? Might be Kirby’s plan but no way he’d say that to a 5* QB recruit. Tell him what he wants to hear until he signs.
