quote:

Starting pay
A&M $72,600
UGA $68,400
UF $68,300
Auburn $67,500
LSU $65,800
Alabama $65,600
Arkansas $65,200
Missouri $64,400
Kentucky $63,200
USC $63,200
Tennessee $62,900
MSU $62,700
Ole Miss $59,900

Payscale

Ag schools like A&M, LSU and Auburn tend to skew the numbers as they focus on engineering while flagship universities like Alabama focus on fine arts and sciences like law, business and medical.

So after the LSU/Auburn engineers make a building that collapses on people, the victims go see Alabama doctors and get Alabama lawyers and Alabama hedge fund operators buy out their engineering firms.

I think a lot has to do with the state the grads go to work in. Texas, Georgia, and Florida offers a lot more job opportunities in cities like Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, Miami, etc. Compared to smaller states like Alabama, Miss, Louisiana, etc.

Ex: And companies in places like Texas are much more likely to hire A&M grads because they know its a good academic school vs. a place like Ole Miss that they aren't as familiar with. Same would go for companies in Atlanta wanting to hire UGA grads.

Alabama Hedge Fund manager is the funniest phrase I’ve heard lol. Harbert Management is the only fund I’ve ever heard of that manages more than 2b and the founder didn’t even run the hedge fund arm Harbinger Capital.

Elon Musk calls an Auburn grad for permission to launch Space X. Auburn sends graduates to the moon and space.
Bama lawyers wait for an accident and chase the ambulance or sue the Bama doctor for malpractice. Kinda the same loop hole isn’t it Stump?
