Seems you don’t get it. It’s not pretentious to strive to be better. We aren’t cranking out 10-2 seasons year after year crying it isn’t good enough. By your logic the Rangers shouldn’t have signed Semien and Seager because they’d never won anything and it was “pretentious” to strive for more. Idiotic logic.
