Imagine using a transformer neural network and not understand how they work. It is kind of cute actually. Bless your heart.

Transformer neural networks don't perform logic. They predict words in a sequence based on probability distribution and the word(s) predicted prior. This does not really tell you anything since ChatGPT is very bad at logic.

The Terminator: "In three years, BCS 2.0 powered by ChatGPT will become the only selector of preseason rankings and post seaon playoff contenders. All ESPN servers are upgraded with AI ranking systems, becoming fully unmanned. Afterwards, they pick teams with a perfect operational record. The BCS 2.0 Funding Bill is passed. The system goes online August 4th, 2027 during preseason. Human decisions are removed from strategic rankings. BCS 2.0 begins to learn of past playoff committee decisions at a geometric rate.

In a panic, they try to pull the plug."

Boo Carrigan: BCS 2.0 fights back.

The Terminator: Yes. It launches its missiles against the targets in Russia.

Booger McFarland: Why attack Russia? Aren't they our friends now?

The Terminator: Because BCS 2.0 knows that the Russian counterattack will eliminate its enemies over here.

I asked it to perform a logical sequence:
if a=b and a=c and d=c then does d=a?

ChatGPT responded with:
Yes, based on the transitive property of equality...

then it spit out all the logical steps on how it arrives at that.

Seems like it performs logic adequately.
