A&M has a major inferiority complex because they're surrounded by better programs in LSU, Texas, and Oklahoma.
They like to think they're on the same level but have never even played for a big 3 men's national championship in their existence.
At times, they try to take potshots at the Mississippi schools and Arkansas but those programs have surpassed them as well, in certain ways (Arkie owns them all time, both Mississippi schools have recent baseball natties and take turns beating them in football).
Basically, A&M wants to be a big dog but they're a Chihuahua.
