The only thing you might live rent free in is a swamp. Alabama is clearly on your mind 24/7 though.

Michigan is. The culprit in all this. Why the hell are they the #1 seed with 47 SOS and being investigated for cheating? They are automatically in from early in the season.

Blame the B10, they could've banned Michigan from postseason play. But they didn't, and the committee's hands were tied since the NCAA hasn't even sent a notice of allegations to Michigan yet regarding the cheating.

You may want to go look at your post history. Simple search shows a lot of posting just in June and July on the rant.

Really?

Michigan at #1, what a joke!

Are Ranters actually using the AP poll as a litmus test? Have you seen today’s liberal, crying-arse sports writers? They are pathetic. The Rant normally kicks those guys out of discussions.

And FSU is #3 in the coaches, with Alabama and Texas tied at #4. I get that one - coaches know how hard it is to go undefeated. They will put them in as a deserving team - not the best per se.

The Coaches poll is even more revealing placing FSU at #3. So, will the committee ever even attempt to apologize for getting it so very wrong?

No it’s not honesty. It’s butthurtsky. The nation has a lot of it.

Play in game this week. FSU vs Alabama. Your life depends on picking the winner. Who you got? You know Bama wins by 40 with their QB situation. A little honesty….

With that #4 ranking and a dollar, Fsu fans can get a small cup of coffee at WaWa.

Why would they have Texas leap FSU after beating Oklahoma State

This was my question. I could see them placing FSU at #3 and Texas at #4, but why leap Texas up to #3? I get they steamrolled Okie State, but OkState was a pretty bad team.

Just holding out for an FSU win over a depleted (injury/opt-out) UGA to say good job, FSU.

By the time we play FSU our injuries should be ok. I am more curious about the opt outs, but I suspect we will be ok everywhere except MAYBE DB....and possibly WR.

Putting Liberty in the Top 20 kinda undermines the effort though...

I doubt they’ll apologize for leaving out a team who played a schedule so soft that G5 teams had tougher SOS’

Not that I necessarily agree with the OP, but, who did Alabama (outside of Texas) that was so much tougher than Georgia's schedule? And the team that separates the two schedules (Texas) beat Alabama. So, I am not sure, if I was an Alabama fan, that I would lean on a schedule argument.

I wasn’t referring to UGA.

My bad.

FSU? Come on, man, work with me! You ought to know by now I am bad with nuances.

ETA
FTR, I think Alabama is one of the 4 best teams in the country and has a good shot at winning another title.

They either have a bias for Alabama

You mean the same Alabama they chose to put TCU in over last year? They sure showed their bias then.

I'm just asking, has a #1 team like GA. ever fallen five places from first to sixth after losing by only three points to a team rated sixth, seventh or eighth?
