FSU isn’t the same team without Travis, but they think Georgia is the same team as last year despite many different pieces including QB.

Do you think that FSU team, without Travis, could have navigated an undefeated season in the SEC? Because Georgia did. The SEC isn't like the others.

WHY does somebody harp NOW on games that were chosen YEARS ago? If you have the insight to the future, give me some winning lottery #'s.

Probably not, but just because the drop off isn’t as large as the FSU drop off, that’s doesn’t mean there isn’t one. I also find it funny. Also, I thought it was well agreed by most of the board that the SEC was down this year and last the majority of the conference games, not to mention the SEC east being significantly easier than the west. It’s funny how those goal posts tend to move a lot.

That said, I think UGA has a better than 50/50 chance to beat every team in the nation on any given day. Doesn't mean we deserve a spot... we don't. We didn't execute when it mattered. Even if we win 55 of 100 against Bama if we play a bunch, Bama won the game that actually happened. Results should matter, not just how good the team is overall.

Based on the body of work for 2023, UGA is definitely in the top 4.
3 points, is the difference between UGA being #1 and #5.
Hard to justify that.

If it's the best 4 teams how is it the committee left out Georgia, a team that won 39 in a row and lost one game by a field goal.

What does 39 (it was actually 29) in a row have to do with this year though? The 12 in row they won this year is relevant, but nothing from 2021 or 2022 is.

LSU fans have turned into Oprah Winfrey

We are an official member of the SEC grievance committee. Ole Miss, Missouri, and Ga all have a legit gripe, three AD conference committee members denied the SEC a 12 team playoff. And LSU’s Heisman quarterback was targeted yet it was never reviewed on the field by the SEC.

Those are all facts!

The only facts that you can show is that you and your ilk cry more than any other fanbase. You guys are a broken bunch that are so sensitive that you need a safe space year round.

Maybe Georgia should have scheduled a strong OOC game in case they lost their only one true test during the year?

They had OU scheduled and it was taken away by the SEC due to realignment.

Our schedule still wasn't a cakewalk, surely more difficult than having to play the bums in the B12.

Ga is no.6, dropped 5 places from no.1 for losing last game. Brilliant by committee

Too bad we weren't ranked when the committee made the decision.

I concede your point. Would you concede my point. The committee applied two different standards, one for denying FL St and another for denying Ga.

You are right here. They should have owned their decision and kept in consistent after the top 4. Either schedule matters the most and Georgia is ranked above FSU, or record matters the most and FSU is ranked 3rd above Texas at 4 with Bama and Georgia sitting at home.

Probably the best team you beat during the regular season was Missouri, a team who needed a last second 60 yard field goal at home to beat a big 12 team that we beat with our backup QB.

Ever consider that the SEC teams didn’t get better, but simply started playing other SEC teams who lost to out of conference teams? I bet not.

If 4 best teams is the sole criteria they would or should have gone with Alabama, Georgia, Michigan , and Ohio St. All those teams would be favored on a neutral field over Washington or Texas.

That’s the committee decided which forth team would go. It was a 50/50 chance for either Ala or Ga
