Fallen soldiers?
The Central Committee don't need no fallen soldiers.
Since Jordan Travis went down, yeah, let's rip the Heisman consideration away from him and minimize what the fallen soldier meant to The Central Effort.
Let's make everyone forget that Jordan Travis ever existed, because he got hurt. Write him out of history, because his selfish individual achievement runs counter to The Common Good.
"Who was Jordan Travis?" The Central Committee asked.
"We don't know!" answered the workers. "We don't know! We never heard of him! All hail the decisions of The Central Committee!"
"Who wins the war?" asked The Central Committee.
"All those who weren't killed in battle!" answered the workers. "All hail the soldiers who were never killed in battle! They are the only victors!"
