Then this is really troubling. The committee said since FSU lost their starting QB to an injury then they’re unworthy despite going 13-0 and finding ways to win.

It’s football, injuries happen

Jordan Travis breaking his leg doomed florida st. they would've gotten in if he wasn't on crutches. tough break. literally.

Its part of the criteria they are told to consider. Its not troubling at all.

They also watched FSU play all season, unlike most people here. They didn’t look good.
Edit: their injured QB making hero plays was their primary offense.

But only certain injuries and only for certain teams.

Does anyone believe an undefeated Alabama with a 2nd string QB (and a great playing defense) would be left out?

Or Georgia? Or Ohio St?

The bigger devil here is money. The committee exists to ensure TV makes the most money with the right matchups.

Michigan is just upset that they have to play a real game rather than the bye week they were hoping for.

What’s really funny is that when you tell someone that FSU deserved to get in, they point to SOS

When every single solitary soul on this board knows that if Travis never got hurt FSU was in, so SOS was literally a non factor

It’s literally written into the criteria that all the conferences, and therefore the school presidents and ADs agreed on.

It sucks. No doubt about that, but according to the agreed upon rules, it is something the committee considers.

The committee’s number one criteria is to maximize profits.

NO THEY DIDN'T

they based it on the drop in the team's performance due to the injury. any idiot that has watched FSU football the past 3 weeks knows they are not the same caliber team they were before Travis got hurt. PERIOD.

GET

Injuries can be a big factor in determining the BEST four teams at season's end, and the goal is to determine the best four teams at season's end!

PS- I'm sensing the aroma of fear coming from your post...anything to it?
