Did UK putting 38 points on Louisville help Alabama

jump Florida State. Chris Doering said Bama needs to write Kentucky a thank you note. We’ll take it. We’ll never make a playoff so I’m glad we contributed someway!

Kentucky having played all 3 of Louisville, Bama, and UGA almost certainly provided some great insight to the committee, as Mitch Barnhart saw it all in person.

Without a doubt and that is why I admonish ANY SEC contender better cheer the SEC on as a whole with other conferences because it can help in the jockeying for position at the end of the day.

You also have to see if FSU had gotten in the playoff, then Louisville will be the next highest to play a top tier bowl. That is a not good matchup for Alabama or UGA. See why Alabama or UGA in the playoff and Alabama or UGA playing FSU would be a much better matchup in a non-playoff bowl game.

While UK may not win a football Natty they sure have driven the nail in the coffin of others schools who had the chance.
