Can anyone remember or document a time in recent memory that an undefeated team won on a neutral site and the next day dropped 2 spots in the rankings on the last week of the season? 13-0 team gets passed up by not just by one, but by two teams with worse records after winning a conference title game by 10. I’m trying to think of when this might of happened, but can’t come up with anything.

Surely someone can name one other time in history this has ever happened.

When your best win of the season is vs LSU you have problems.

It happened today. Good luck with Wisconsin.

In 2014 No. 3 TCU won their last regular season game at home against Iowa State 55-3.

They fell to No. 6 in the final rankings the next day.

No, they were not undefeated, but they still took a miraculous tumble

Problem for FSU is LSU turned out to be terrible this year.

So they were left with no really impressive wins.

Y'all sucking helped lower their strength of schedule and ultimately helped us get into the playoffs. I thank y'all for that.

Duke, Miami, Clemson, @ Florida were all good wins.
The can’t control that some of the teams they played this year were not as good as projected. They still won all of them.

Miami was 3-5 in the ACC. They had to hold on to win by a TD.
Clemson was 4-4 in the ACC. They had to go to OT to win that one.
Boston College was 3-5, and they only won that game by 2 points.

FSU beat #14 Louisville by 10 with their third string QB.

Bama had to have UGA’s top two receivers hurt and some key bad calls by refs to beat UGA by 3.

Not to mention the week before, had to have a lot second prayer answered to beat unranked Auburn by 3.

If the same Bama shows up for the playoffs that showed up for the Iron Bowl, Bama’s getting killed by much more than FSU would have been.

Louisville lost the week before by a touchdown, at home, to a 5-6 Kentucky team. This is not the flex you think it is.

And zero losses

You can only beat the teams in front of you.

If FSU beat a team that they didn't play, that would really be something.

So 9-3 is terrible? Sounds like a delusional Bammer where a loss gets a brick thrown through the coach’s office window.

Still waiting to hear if a 13-0 team ever got passed by two 12-1 teams on the LAST ranking. I think the answer is never. Willing to listen if someone can show me I’m wrong.

When they beat the only common opponent by more there is no other argument.
