That's because you don't understand that the 4-team playoff wasn't designed to find the best 4 teams. It was designed to identify the #1 team with a 300% margin of error and let them fight it out. It should have been BCS top 4 and let them fight. Then they got a fricking committee involved, that was the downfall. Now it's going to be 12 teams decided by committee, somehow that's not going to rub asses red?

I guess the big difference to me is that I would be hard pressed any season to say a team that did not make the 12 should have a shot to win the championship.
If this year were six teams, I would still think Georgia might win it all.
