They also admitted Bama was considered because they put a sec team in every year so far.

The SEC, even in a down year, is the Beast Conference of CFB. Everyone knows it, and it won't end soon. They recruit the best. They take it the most seriously. They're the kings of the sport. The championships show it. The composite blue chips show it. The viewership shows it. It is what it is. Which is to say, it's glorious.

04 AU got bounced for a joke of an Oklahoma team.

I'm not sure if 04 Auburn could have beat USC but surely they could have competed better than OU did.

"I am asked why we joined the ACC instead of the SEC back in 1992. We were invited to join both conferences the same year. Let me first say that we (FSU) had applied for membership in the SEC for the previous 20 to 25 years but were turned down every time. When we made our decision, the people making those decisions preferred the ACC for academic reasons.
What part did I play in it? I merely agreed to whatever those responsible decided. I had always been an SEC fan. I did feel, however, that between the SEC and the ACC, the best road to a national title was through the ACC. A national championship was my number one goal every year. The SEC is so tough, top to bottom, that they beat up on each other week after week." - Bobby Bowden

ACC went 6-4 against SEC teams this year. ACC had the best OOC P5 record at 10-9. I believe SEC only had 7 out of conference P5 wins.

Moreover, FSU had two road wins against SEC teams. One of those wins was against LSU by a wider margin than Alabama.

Is it SEC bias or Bama bias

Don’t flatter yourself. 4 in a row for the sec but only one is yours. Better make it 5 or none of us will be given the benefit of the doubt again next year.
