The Four BEST Teams

How do we know that Washington is better than tOSU and Michigan is better than UGA?

the four best teams would have included georgia. texas or even washington with their zero losses would not have made it. bama is one of the four best, but they made the playoffs specifically because it would be ridiculous not to include the sec champ

BAMA needed a Kick Six level miracle to beat a six-loss team who had just had their stool pushed in at home by New Mexico Fricking State.

Sitcherass down.

Then why isn’t Georgia in?

No Conference Championship this year is too glaring given the logjam of Conference Champs with at the most, one loss.

That has nothing to do with which are the "best teams".

And? Texas beat Houston by 7, TCU by 3, and needed a 4th and goal stop to beat KSU in OT.

FSU beat Boston College by 2, Miami by 7, and survived while looking putrid against UF (losing record) and Louisville (lost to KY and Pitt).

Every team has some warts, but FSU without their QB is not one of 4 best teams.

Most fans simply don't get this. It's easier to fixate on one or two games that backs up their biased opinion

No kidding. Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure this out.

These people are sheep who just don’t want to believe their shepherd is corrupt.

Substitute the word "lucky" for "deserving" & I agree. That 1% victory over a poor AU team says a lot more about bama than a committee vote. Throw in the other gifted TD bama got from the fumbled punt......

A multi billion dollar sport with no clear path to a title. Criteria is undefined, subjective, and subject to change from year to year, so nobody can ever know exactly what the committee will look for in deciding playoff spots.

But somehow the big money brands consistently get in, while smaller brands don't.

Now fast forward to next season SECCG when the REC meets to decide who will play Bama... No divisions.

regular season means nothing if it just comes down to some eyeball "who would win right now" criteria.

I've never seen a bigger fan base get into a playoff or final championship game and have to convince everyone else that they deserve to be there.

Insecure U.

It's really weird now, guys. You've had your day. Get over it please.

Exactly. The Playoff Committee just turned themselves into any other SEC Rant shite poster who thinks their team is the best.

Nick Saban 2018 after the SECCG: "UGA is one of the 4 best teams in the country. But I can't vote them top 4 because they didn't deserve it. It isn't fair"
