LSU has a 2 loss national championship. Talk about good timing and luck. That team wouldn’t even make the top 6 today and would have been left out of potentially every playoff. Yet the only talk of asterisks comes from LSU fans.

Did any of the Power 5 teams that year have one loss and not get in the championship?
