It’s fate he’s our head coach one day to bring my dumbass moment full circle.

Many, many years ago when we were both students at Arkansas, I was sitting in the stands at a spring game ripping on how awful of a QB he was. I may have been a touch drunk and less than quiet about it. After I finished my tirade, a guy behind us started talking to a woman sitting right behind me and over the course of their conversation she told him that her son was a QB in the team. Turns out it was Rhett’s mom. My buddy made us get up and leave after she said who her son was due to his sheer embarrassment. She was the better person and never said a word to us while I was going on and on.

We must now hire him to prove how wrong I was about him.

Not into a guy that just finished 11-2 and won his conference championship over a ranked team?

That makes sense.

Won’t get him anyway. SMU is a better job and he will get a better job if he continues to have success in the ACC next year.
