and one fake national title in a fake 2020 season playing games in front of empty stadiums and beating a 7 win team in the national title game.

That 2020 Alabama team finished the season as the greatest scoring offense statistically in SEC history averaging 48.5 ppg, just ahead of the 2019 LSU offense that averaged 48.4 ppg. Against a regular season schedule made up exclusively of SEC opponents including Top 8 opponents Georgia and Florida along with #4 Notre Dame and #2 Ohio State in the playoffs.

Not bad for a fake team during a fake football season

Best season ever. The no fans makes the argument even stronger. Essentially more games, vs top competition, with no traditional home field advantage.

Great thread, Govt. We all just have to overlook the small and jealous posters that chirp about invalid NC's.

We know how to deal with them; just laugh in their face and smile when we look at the beautiful trophies on campus.

It's kind of like the championships that aren't supposedly valid, according to the miserable and unhappy fans of other teams, from earlier decades.

They say that because the AP changed their rules a year after Bama won or the UPI changed their rules a year after or a year before or whatever they ramble on about, those NC's aren't valid either.

I always just remind them that the trophies are real and I know where they are at if they would like to see them.

And this one:

is real too, it doesn't seem to be invalid.

Hard to accept that when A. you ONLY played 10 games & B. an ALL CONF. schedule

So, it's easy to pad stats when you have 2 MORE (& only) SEC opponents.
