It is the idea situation with petrino focusing on the offense and someone else focusing on recruiting, roster management, media relations, fundraising, etc.

Then what’s the point of paying Sam HC money? It’s one thing for Bobby to run the offense but ultimately whose team is it? Everything you listed for Sam is support and could be done by football staff.

Also curious how much money Bobby will make and what happens when someone offers him more money than what OC pays? I know he’s happy to be back and he loves it, but everyone here would take the jump in pay from OC to HC.

I guess this can be said for most head coaches who don’t call their on offensive plays. Fire all of them.

Let Sam coach the OL and let Fountain handle the recruiting.

Leave Bobby tf alone.

The HC is required to do all the media stuff, coaches shows tv and radio, media circuit, fund raiser events, etc. Basically all the stuff you could tell petrino hated doing the first time here.

He has a 3 year contract for 1.3 mil per year.

He isn't in high demand due to age and past baggage. He would be sitting this year out or at a G5 school had Arkansas not hired him.
