Sure. Other than COVID year, we’ve finished in the top 25 once since 2014.

Acting like the pieces are in place and we are a coaching change step away from excellence is delusional.

I mean, that is kinda what most Aggie fans think. We have (had?) a top 5 roster based on 24/7 composite talent, new facilities, large assistant salary pool, etc. pretty much everything you could think of. We should be winning more games, that’s why the athletic department just ate a 77 million dollar buyout because Jimbo was given every tool he needed and went 8-4, 5-7, and 7-5. The head coach was what was holding us back, not the roster.

Im not saying every single player in the recent classes is a hit, but if you don’t think there’s a lot of talent already on campus, I’d say you’re the delusional one. Would rather have us “retool” the roster vs rebuild…

Lots of good pieces on this team now. Every good piece that leaves has to be replaced.

I would rather not have a team in 2024 that is made up of true freshman. That’s just me.

We need to get Nikes and a few others back in the fold. Some can certainly go and we can upgrade.

If we had 2/3 good offensive lineman on this team to start the year…. This season is on a completely different trajectory.

That’s my take anyway.
