I ask you all, sincerely, how to you leave the SEC completely out of the playoffs?

The SEC almost always wins the playoffs.

Any criteria that leaves the SEC out of the playoffs is rather suspect if you've watched college football for the last 20 years.

You answered your question.

uGA is the SEC's sure shot to get in and is a deserving team.

We saw it to a degree in recent years; the CFP committee is working for survival with the hope of breaking their national perception of SEC bias. Plus, it's a destined PAC send-off year.

The worst case for the SEC is that Bama wins vs UGA. It places all of the hope on external factors.

Bama has a path to the CFPs, but it requires an FSU, UM, or UTx loss. The only other, least likely, option is that Bama absolutely destroys UGA, and all others look REAALLLLLY bad in their wins.
