You might be surprised to find out that in most years the East had another top ten team when he won it.

2018 UF 8, UK 12
2019 UF 6
2022 UT 6
2023 Mizzou 9,

The idea of the SEC West being so powerful and wonderful is largely a myth.

It was an era that lasted all of 6 years – 2008 to 2013 – and after that Les Miles started farting around and Manziel went to the draft and Auburn fell off.

Since that time it's basically been Alabama, Alabama's two schizo inconsistent little brothers LSU and Auburn, and then frigging Ole Miss, Miss. State, Arkansas and Texas A&M.

Please tell me all of these great and wonderful SEC West programs that Alabama has gone to war with in the last 10 years.

If you exclude cross divisional games played by both Alabama and Georgia from 2014 till now the SEC West has dominated the SEC East most years.

The SEC East has only one winning record against the West (2018) during that time: Here are the SEC West's records (excluding Alabama and Georgia games) against the East during that time:

2014 - 8-2
2015 - 10-1
2016 - 6-4
2017 - 8-2
2018 - 2-8
2019 - 5-5
2020 - 13-6
2021 - 8-2
2022 - 5-5
2023 - 6-4

No way to sugarcoat it. The SEC East has been a weak sauce division since 2010

Has not always been the case. The divisions (well not after this year) were approaching parity. But to give credit where it is due the West used to be a bad MFer.
