Yes, that is correct.

They were en route to getting shite stomped by Kentucky again when Kyle Trask became the QB.

Mullen refused to play Trask until he absolutely had to, and Trask carried him for two seasons.

Once he left, Dan put in his offense with his recruits and was a total shitshow, en route to going 5-7.

5-8 wins is Dan Mullen's window.

They didn't go 5-7

They went 5-6 he got fired and they finished 6-7.

The point of the argument is Mullen was miles better than McElwaine who it was proposed they should have kept.

McElwain lost more games by 14+ in 2 and 1/2 seasons than Mullen lost in 2 games shy of 4 seasons.

McElwain's last year Florida went 4-7 (3-4 when he was fired)
