He either goes along with it or gets demoted to OL coach.

What a minute, he is the OL coach.

I thought Arkansas could not legally hire Bobby Petrino back.

Improved total offense from 101th in 2022 to 53th this year with mediocre QBs.

OP smells of piss and fear. tFlagship is coming. Nothing can stop it.

A lack of offensive talent may stop it. Petrino wasn’t great at A&M this season with a lot more talent.

Apparently it depends on how the law is interpreted. I’ve seen it happen…haha.

Surely, but not enough to keep their head coach’s job.

Also with a lot more talent

That offense was one of the worst offenses in the nation last year.

It isn't his fault the offense is full of yell leaders.

Not only was this a good coaching hire but an excitement hire that will bring plenty of nostalgia.

That nostalgia was needed to convince hog fans to donate to the new NIL collection agency.

Sounds like Sam is willing to do what it takes to win games. That’s what he’s paid to do. No shame in that.
Sam didn't make this decision. If the AD didn't want him then he wouldn't have been hired.

Sam Pittman’s annual salary is roughly $6 million dollars a year. I have some pride, but not enough to walk away from $500,000 a month over it. But that is just me. And apparently Sam Pittman.

It could be argued that Jimbo didn’t let BP call the whole offense.

Solid for the fact he had a backup average QB and HC holding him back due to the HC thinking he knows offense.

Arkansas has to play like they have nothing to lose. That is how they will get themselves out of the hole that they dug themselves in.

To be fair, Sam dug us out of the worst hole this program has ever been in. I expect he knows what it takes to do it again.

Hell, it was looking like we were going to hire Jim damn Chaney again. I don’t think I could have lived with that.

Sam said his only concern is that we need to be able to run the football and Petrino can do that. I figure he’ll have full control of the offense and hopefully be able to coach around any deficiencies. But we we need to beat the bushes for some stud receivers and olinemen in the worst way.

I didn’t figure I’d have a good reason to be optimistic this off season but dammit here it is……
