Getting nowhere. The committee was not impressed with the Iron Bowl victory.

Could’ve won 99-0 and stayed at 8

The committee will look like complete idiots if they move Bama to #4 even if they best UGA, who played a terrible schedule.

I can't wait till we get to 12 teams. College football has been in the stone age for decades on how to choose a champion. We have tons of great playoff examples and we still use the eye test to pick teams behind closed doors.

Texas beat a team with the same record by 50 and also stayed put.

They want another Ohio State vs. Michigan game so bad it's honestly better to just accept it at this point.

Or, nothing changed above them.

If Bama wins the SEC they move to 5 and UGa moves to 4. Auburn gave Bama half a loss.

Yep. Either SEC has UGA or no one looks like, barring absolute chaos.

Red Bulldog Club and SEC gonna do work on these refs

I’m starting to think Bama can win the SEC and if UGA make its close game, then UGA can still get in while Bama gets left out. I don’t see them jumping 4 spots and UGA dropping 5 spots. Hell, Ohio State only dropped 3 slots after the Michigan loss. Bama needs to start worrying.

Bama’s situation is the same as it has been for weeks. Need to keep winning and need Florida State or Texas to lose.

They need to move 4 spots. A win over Goergia moves them above Georgia (head to head and conf champ versus no conf champ), Ohio State (sitting at home, no conf champ, only two ranked wins), and the loser of Pac 12 Champ game (they aren’t getting two teams in).

That puts them at 5. Need FSU or Texas to lose and they are in. Been that way for weeks. Hasnt happened yet.

As much as I hate it, Bama will need help from somebody even if they beat Georgia. I’m biased and think we’re still one of the four best teams but unless a few other teams ahead of Bama lose, we’re left out. Too much ground to make up.

No team has moved from 8 into the playoffs in 1 week. The lowest spot has been from 6.

Makes no difference whether you're giddy
or not , most everybody expected Bama not to
move. But with the win , there is now a
clear path for a shot at making the playoffs.
By the way, haven't checked , where will
LSU play this Saturday ?
