Even a single digit loss would likely keep UGA in the top 4, maybe at 3.

As is the case 100% of the time, it depends on the other P5 champs. If we lose we are a 1-loss team without a conference title, so according to precedent we're at the back of the line of 0/1 loss P5 champs.

If Michigan, Washington, and FSU all win and we lose, I think some people need to start mentally preparing that we don't make the playoffs. I'd be more than happy to eat crow on that but we have 9 years of black and white data to go on and that data shows we'd be out.

bring Ohio State back in?

Ohio state has zero chance at all. They are also a 1-loss non-champ but there are others that may be in the same boat that woudl be above them in the pecking order.

Personally, and i think I speak for most UGA fans, let's jsut make things as easy as humanly possible and have us, michigan, washington, and fsu win and call it a day and kick our feet up thinking abotu houston.

Yep, hopefully the top 4 win out.
I like our chances vs Florida St. in the first round.
My guess is that Michigan would beat Washington and we play Michigan in the championship.

Just win, baby, and all this theorizing, speculating and spitballing is out the window. Pray for chalk.

100%. If we lose, we’re out unless chaos ensues nationally. Like FSU, Michigan, or Texas losing. Maybe need 2 of the 3.

Realistically, Michigan, FSU, and Texas ain’t losing. Oregon/Washington winner seems like a lock. The real discussion becomes Texas-Alabama which I think you’d have to go with h2h winner.

Let’s just win and make it easy

I think this is exactly right. The best scenario is for Georgia to just win and they are in as the #1 seed. If Bama wins then Georgia would get in over any other 1 loss team other than Bama and that is because Georgia would have the best resume among any of the 1 loss teams. But if you wind up with the 3 undefeated teams winning this weekend then they would be in along with a 1 loss Bama team. So at least 1 of those 3 undefeated teams would need to lose this weekend for Georgia to get in if Georgia were to lose to Alabama.

However it goes you could wind up with at least 2 teams not making it that would at least have a legitimate claim to being in the playoffs.
